Tim has 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, including inpatient & outpatient, private practice & system leadership experience in orthopedics, behavioral health, sports medicine & multi-specialty groups. Tim has also served in senior leadership roles in medical and psychiatric hospitals as well as, in health systems settings. Tim got his professional start working in the nonprofit sector with at-risk youth & families in leadership role, transitioned later to private practice Orthopedics administration, then later to musculoskeletal service line and multi-specialty ambulatory leadership. As his career continued to advance, Tim served as the Chief Operating Officer in a community hospital and then as the Chief Executive Officer & Chief Operating Officer in psychiatric hospitals and health systems.
Tim has received advanced training throughout his career, including training with the Leadership Development Institute at the University of South Florida, multiple Six Sigma Belts & Lean Certification, 11-clinical certifications & licensure, and recognition at the Diplomat status level with a specialty in Forensic Counseling. He has achieved and is recognized as a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), holds a Certificate in Orthopedic Operations Leadership from the American Alliance of Orthopedic Executives (AAOE), is a member of American College of Hospital Executives (ACHE), has been approved to sit for Fellow status exam from the American College of Hospital Executives (FACHE) and was fortunate enough to have been professionally published on two occasions.
Currently, Tim is serving as the Administrative Director for Behavioral Health Service Line at IU-Health for the West Central Region.
Tim and his wife (Liz) have two children (Megan & Gabe) who are completing their under-graduate and graduate degrees. He is very excited to join the Bauer Family Services team and looks forward to getting to know the leadership & other board members as we work together to serve Bauer Family Services.
