Cassie Wade

Chief Operations Officer

Cassie joined Bauer in 2007 in a dual role as a Homebuilder and Victim Advocate.  Since then, she has had various roles in the company and became the Chief Operation Officer in 2018.  Cassie has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Ball State University.  Cassie has over 15 years of experience in the human services field, primarily working with children and adults who have experienced trauma.  Cassie is passionate about creating trauma-responsive communities and advocating for undeserved communities.

Cassie met her husband, Jon, at Bauer and their young daughter is named after the founder, Grace Bauer.  Her family lives in the downtown area near Bauer Community Center.  They enjoy being outdoors, exploring Lafayette and traveling.
