About Bauer’s Early Head Start Center-Based Program

Early Head Start children attend school daily and engage in planned educational activities with their teachers. Families continue the learning at home through weekly Home Links that the teachers develop specifically for their child. Families volunteer in their child’s classroom 8 hours per month and participate in Bauer’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and elect representatives to Bauer’s Policy Council. Families also engage in a minimum of two home visits and two conferences with their child’s teacher each year.
